✏️Custom Prompts

What they are: Personal rules you layer on top of standardized documentation formats. Custom prompts are specific to your account and can be changed at any time.

What they're for: Adjusting the style, tone, format, or capturing additional information to match how you personally like to document.

Example: Your practice uses a standard SOAP format, but you prefer your HPI written in a more narrative style. You can add a custom prompt: "Write my HPI as a narrative paragraph from the patient's perspective. Break into paragraphs where necessary." Every note you generate from that point will reflect that preference automatically.

How to set up custom prompts:

  1. Go to Settings -> Custom Prompts

  2. Select the note template you'd like to apply this prompt to

  3. Write your instruction in plain language. Feel free to add examples

  4. Save the prompt

Tip: Custom prompts can be edited or deleted at any time. We recommend testing a prompt and tweaking it until the output sounds exactly how you want it.
